You must have heard the rumour on social media that Nollywood star actress/producer Ini edo has turned into a musician and she has released a song.

Well, ini has refuted the rumours.

Mavin Records First Lady, Tiwa Savage Hits Pepsi endorsement deal

Gist has it that Tiwa Savage has landed herself a major endorsement from Pepsi, I overheard its a huge one and the first for any artiste in Africa. The commercial for this, like Nicki Minaj’s which debuted a few days ago in America [watch video after the jump] is said to be in the works. While, Nicki Minaj is the new international face of Pepsi, our Miss Tiwa will be the face of the drink in Africa. Congrats to her and her recent signup with DonJazzy’s MAVIN RECORDS. You’ll recall that stars like Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Kanye and more were faces of Pepsi in the past.

From (Net Ng), R&B-Pop singer Tiwa Savage has landed a major endorsement deal with popular beverage company Pepsi, a deal we are told is worth a couple of millions of Naira.

We are told that the endorsement deal was sealed with Tiwa’s current management 323 Entertainment headed by Tunji ‘T-Billz’ Balogun about a month ago. The deal sees the 32-year-old follow the likes of pop singer Ashionye who was endorsed as the face of ‘Pepsi Light’ back in 2007.

‘Yea, the deal is true, I can confirm that but that’s all I can say for now’, Balogun told NET in a phone conversation. Balogun later explained he signed a non-disclosure agreement with the parties involved. ‘I’m still surprise how the news got out so soon‘, he added.

There’s no announcement yet from Pepsi. But an insider tells us there’s the possibility that another Nigerian pop star will be joining Tiwa at Pepsi.

Mr Latin Welcomes Baby, Few Hours after Death Rumour!

 

 

It’s less than 24 hours since comedic actor Bolaji Amusan popularly known as Baba Latin was rumoured dead and after making sure he made everyone know he’s alive and kicking, the actor has announced the arrival of his new baby.

Reports say Latin’s wife delivered the baby girl this morning in Dublin, Ireland.

The actor’s fans have taken to his Facebook Page which was flooded with condolence messages hours ago to congratulate him.

‘Congratulation on ur new born baby girl am wishing her long life in gud health nd wealth baba omo tuntun u are blessed’, a fan, Akanke Ruq’at Olaide wrote.

‘Congratulation my brother, on the arrival of your new bouncing baby girl. May God continue to bless and protect you and your family. I am so happy for you. Its well!!!!’, another fan, Olabanji Odumosu said.

Chidi Mokeme and Ex Wife wed same day

Chidi Mokeme married Dr Jean Olumba on Saturday April 28th. That same day, Chidi’s baby mama, media consultant Adia Ukoyen married Curtis Imodufen. Chidi and Adia have a 14 year old son together, but separated when they boy was just two. Adia, who is still very good friends with her baby daddy, said she learnt of her ex’s wedding date after she called him to inform him of her impending wedding on April 28th.
